How to build an image that u-boot can load-to and run from RAM

I have done this on many devices, and variations of Linux. However, I am totally stumped as to how to do this with Yocto.
I have no persistent data, so everything being volatile is fine. The only time I want to write to the FLASH is when I am updating the FW.
