Hi,

I got one of the blacksand boards with N450 that were given away at

Anyone any idea?

Looking into it.

I waswwondering if a newer bios has become available I haven't heard back from you after the above mail and I haven't found a newer bios myself (but maybe I looked at the wrong places). The one I got with the board is way too verbose making the boot take way too long, causing the board to be used only rarely.

Kumar,

Once it's in OE-Core Richard (the maintainer of both) does a merge into the poky git repo, so by the time you get an ACK email, it should be propagated already.

I suspect redefines. I did compile this on a machine that did have the
defines in endian.h though and I got no messages from bitbake. I guess
I should check the compile log. Will do these things shortly.
I have reason to believe that ldconfig-native is not even being built
on my Fedora box. Does this make any sense? I've cleared sstate, run
bitbake -c clean, and even manually run bitbake -c compile
ldconfig-native. Is it somehow determining the host ldconfig is
adequate?

At boot time, press tab at the syslinux boot: prompt, it will list
"boot" and "install". It runs "boot" by default. Type "install" followed
by Enter and it will attempt to install on the hard disk - it will
destroy any data on the drive, so beware.

I _think_ this has to do with the move from POKY to CORE in the naming.
Looks like the directdisk image type may have been missed.

I suggest you try the poky-image-sato-live image and install from that.
The directdisk images have some known issues that I suspect will prevent

I think the key fail message is

| ERROR: Function 'poky-image-sato-directdisk: LIC_FILES_CHKSUM points
to invalid file: ${COREBASE}/LICENSE' failed

Is there any problem I got? Or where can I find the files? Thanks.
I _think_ this has to do with the move from POKY to CORE in the naming.
Looks like the directdisk image type may have been missed.

I suggest you try the poky-image-sato-live image and install from that.
The directdisk images have some known issues that I suspect will prevent
them from working for you.

Weekly test report for Yocto1.1 M2 RC3 20110717 build

Fan, WenhuaX <wenhuax.fan@...>

Hi, All

This is the weekly test report for Yocto1.1 M2 RC3 20110717 build. There are two new bug were found. All the lsb image build failed on autobuilder. For Crownbay image, Xorg eats lots of CPU’s resource after standby, and broken grub due to wrong root path. Standby and I2C issue still exist on Emenlow. Psplash failed issue exist on Blacksand in current build. 3D testing still is blocked on sugarbay. The rpm/zypper install/removal consume disk space issue still exists. Broken ldd issue still exist in current build also. For bug fixing, glxinfo and glxgears can work on Emenlow. Gcc/g++ can work in current images also. Parport_pc probe issue was fixed on Sugarbay.

NoteFor different images, they are built against different commit/branch on autobuilder. You can refer to “Commit Information” section for detailed information. The test report is archived @https://wiki.pokylinux.org/wiki/Yocto_1.1_Milestone_Test_Report

Thanks for this patch.

What will happen on distros that do include these macros?  Will we get
redefines?  I don't see any conditional testing to determine if they exist
already.
I suspect redefines. I did compile this on a machine that did have the
defines in endian.h though and I got no messages from bitbake. I guess
I should check the compile log. Will do these things shortly.

The two patches are the implmentation of Hob Cache for accelarating
UI switching. If one configuration has been saved before, when user
switch back to the same configuration combination, we will use the
cache content instead of re-triggering parsing/loading phase.
I'm still not certain about merging this change, do you feel it's still
worth it once we've merged your change to reduce the tree generation
time?

If so we need to revise the second patch to invalidate the cached value
correctly. sdk-machine shouldn't affect the available packages but which
layers are enabled certainly will.

Thanks for this patch.

What will happen on distros that do include these macros? Will we get redefines? I don't see any conditional testing to determine if they exist already.

so we include them via this patch
