fakeroot doesn't intercept or alter fopen(). It'd be better to test something
that is actually affected by fakeroot for a comparison. :)

Phase one status was best effort on the the update list, and I will have a summary later this week.
All recipes now have SRC_URI Checksums, the checking work is part

I'd second Scott's opinion here. I wasn't marking my bugs
as verified, since as a submitter, I've never had to do
this in 10+ years in the 'biz'.

I have now verified all my bugs.
However, the process doesn't seem right to me. As the person who fixed the bug, presumably I performed verification that my fix actually works, which is why I marked

I believe that this is part of the fundamental differences between fakeroot and
pseudo. Fakeroot only persists data on shutdown, while pseudo does persistence
during the read/writes.

Yes, SDK is generated from the distro metadata, which however doesn't prevent SDK
as a standalone component to have its own version variable. We can have:
SDK_VERSION = ${DISTRO_VERSION}
