how to use meta-cpan layer in a reproducible way?

Why is the base-files recipe different?
Hi,
I'm trying to install different fstab files based on the image being built. As far as I can tell this should be possible by using BBCLASSEXTEND.

That is clearly wrong, you shouldn't change the git:// at the beginning of SRC_URI, just the ";protocol=git" to

Yes, I use one UBIFS for 4 partitions, RO rootfs, RO kernel, RO DTB
and RW application, no write for RO partitions, that should be safe, I
