We should really get a default value for FETCHCOMMAND_p4 defined in OE-Core
(and perhaps also the default bitbake.conf bundled with bitbake

Hi,
I have tried with adding the " CORE_IMAGE_EXTRA_INSTALL += "inetutils inetutils-telnetd" in locl.conf file.
But it doesn't work. I have doubt here the inetutils is a package not the binary

Building the package is not enough by itself. You need to get it added to the
image that you are using. This can be done either at build time or at run time.

No problem. I'm going to continue looking into this, since we do want
consistent behaviour with all the methods.
Leave it with me and I'll take care of it, I just wanted to be sure you
