Re: RFC: newbies and janitors
Great, this is the idea. It's a pretty sparse list, and could do with some fleshing out.

Re: run-time problem - poky-image-lsb-sdk-beagleboard
What does /etc/network/interfaces show? Is it different between the two images?
n.b. I've not tried any of the LSB images, just poking in the dark.

Re: where is the Sysroot Location?
Simon,
Sorry missed your message below the image, the rootfs should be under ../build/tmp/deploy/images, use the files e.g. poky-image-sato-sdk-qemux86-*.rootfs.tar.bz2. To bitbake meta-ide-support

Re: where is the Sysroot Location?
Simon,
Please set your sysroot location to the directory where you extract the rootfs using the poky-extract-sdk. BTW, poky-extract-sdk should extract sysroot based on the rootfs not the pseudo.

Re: Older versions of Linux as build hosts?
For what its worth, poky master is now moving ahead with new changes so
if you do have updates for master, the tree is open for them.
Cheers,
Richard
