I have seen 3 build failures, all related to libowl-av and sato rootfs, they
are in Atom-pc, qemuppc and mpc8315 targets. I am going attempt a rebuild
of the nightly-ppc standalone. There was also a failure in the p1022, which
I think Matthew is aware of.
This should be fixed for master in meta-fsl-ppc.

New autobuilder adt-repo functionality and known adt-installer issues.

Flanagan, Elizabeth <elizabeth.flanagan@...>

All,

There have been a few bugs opened via QA over the inability to test
the adtrepo from autobuilder builds over the past few weeks. Last week
I started looking at this and have implemented some changes to the
autobuilder which should make it so that this won't be an issue for
much longer.

The autobuilder nightly buildset now builds out two adt-installers and
can install the resulting adtrepo of both. The production autobuilder
will now build out the vanilla adt-installer which points to the adt
repo at adtrepo.yoctoproject.org/${SDK_VERSION}. This adt-installer
will only be used for point and major releases and should only be
tested when preparing for that release.

The second adt-installer points to
adtrepo-dev.yoctoproject.org/${SDK_VERSION}-githash. This adt repo is
installed automatically from the autobuilder and is the one that
should be tested against using the adt-installer in nightly's
adt-installer-QA.

For people using the yocto-autobuilder, all of this is configurable
through the autobuilder.conf file and is turned off by default. The
code for this is currently in the production autobuilder and I'm
working on testing it out in that environment to ensure that there are
no issues.

After checking the M4.rc2 buildout tonight there is still an issue
with the adt-installer. The opkg.conf files don't update to the
correct adtrepo location. I'm working on a patch for it now, however
to get around this for testing, you'll need to manually update
./opkg/conf/opkg-sdk-*.conf
to either:

Denzil / Cedartrail / EGL/GLES under X

Chris Tapp

Does anyone have a simple recipe they are willing to share that uses meta/intel/cedartrail which shows how to get EGL/GLES running under X?

I've managed to get to the point where I think EGL is up (no API errors reported), but if I try anything on the GL side (e.g. glClear to get the background color) I'm not getting anything showing on the display when I call eglSwapBuffers().

If I run this app in a terminal within Sato then I can see printf-type diagnostics from the program, but nothing else.

I'm not sure how to configure my build to use the cdv-pvr-driver libs rather than the MESA-dri equivalents either. Both provide libGLESv2, etc., but I want the cdv-pvr-driver versions in the final image. However, cdv-prv-driver doesn't seem to have an include directory to use at build time, so MESA needs to be there as well. Is there a PREFERRED_PROVIDER_virtual/libgl value I can use?
