DEBUG: Searching for asound.state in paths:
There are a lot of paths that it searched in for the file. I’ve moved the file in the file system changed the value of FILESEXTRAPATHS_prepend_mx6 from: 

FILESEXTRAPATHS_prepend_mx6 := "${THISDIR}/${PN}/imx:”

to:

FILESEXTRAPATHS_prepend_mx6 := "${THISDIR}/${PN}:”

That has made the build process find my version of asound.state first.
