We are pleased to announce the availability of meta-valleyisland BSP layer for Yocto Project v1.5.2.

The BSP is made specifically for Intel® Atom E3800 Processor Development Kit (formerly known as Valley Island).
This BSP is using open source graphics driver as integrated graphics. This BSP layer supports the following platforms:
1. Valley Island Development Kit
2. Bayley Bay CRB and
3. Bakersport CRB

We are pleased to announce the availability of meta-intel/meta-isg/meta-valleyisland BSP layer for Yocto version 1.4.2 supporting Linux kernel version 3.8.
The BSP is made specifically for Intel Atom Processor E38XX (ValleyIsland) Development Kit. This BSP assumes that Intel integrated graphics is being used.
The "valleyisland" BSP is meant to support Valley Island development kit, Bayley Bay and Bakersport Customers Reference Board.

* Summary

This is a technology preview for Toaster, a web interface allowing
recording and inspecting the build process and artifacts from a
Yocto project build. The code should be treated as being an "alpha" release.

The system runs Bitbake in server-mode, a feature that was merged
in the 1.5 Dora release. The server mode accepting "observing" clients
that can listen for Bitbake events has also been developed for 1.5

A new Bitbake UI module has been developed, named "toasterui";
this UI listens for build events, retrieves information from the events,
and records the information in the database.

A web interface developed in Python/Django exposes the recorded information
in a basic HTML interface, named Simple UI; and also exposes the information
via a REST API for third party use.

The scope of the Simple UI is to allow visual data testing to verify the
quality of the backend. The Simple UI isn't an example of the final UI, nor
does it show the analysis capabilities projected for Toaster.

The final UI is still in development.

The Toaster web interface exposes a set of REST APIs allowing third party
to retrieve and process recorded data in 3rd party applications.

* Bug 5311 - can't use PACKAGE_EXCLUDE with an ipk image based
* Bug 5182/5183/5211 - [Beagleboard xM]X/Network Interface/USB do not work
with 3.10 kernel
* Bug 5351 - genericx86 auth.err getty[615]: tcgetattr: Input/output
* Bug 5354 - Incorrect path set for ppc adt in x86 machines. Workaround
Note: ADT issue with ppc ADT toolchain for spe enabled targets not
coexisting well with the non-spe standard version. To work around, use
either one set of ppc targets or the other but don't build both. If you
need both, put one in a separate ADT repository.
* Known issue with feature #3847: New partitioning description and tooling
There is a new tool for image creation called wic which is available as a
prototype in this release.
We encourage experimentation and feedback from the community for wic;
please send email to yocto@... if you have questions or run
into problems.
* Due to a bad implementation of libchameleon in some host distributions,
tardis.bbclass will sometimes turn an embedded device into a large blue

Dear all,
We are pleased to announce the availability of meta-intel/meta- haswell-wc BSP layer for Yocto v1.4.2.
The BSP is made specifically for 4th Gen Intel Core Processor (Haswell) Development Kit with Mobile Intel QM87 & HM86 Chipset (formerly known as Shark Bay).
This BSP assumes that integrated graphics are being used. The "haswell-wc" BSP is meant to support "Walnut Canyon" Shark Bay development kit.
