John - I think you might be confusing LinuxCon with Collaboration Summit in April. Collab Summit is indeed invitation-only. (Note: all AB members will be invited to Collab, as we will have a meeting there.) LinuxCon is a huge public event (probably over 1000 people this year) and is not invitation-only. I was mostly concerned with the timing in August, as San Diego is a long way from Fremont.<br>

Per the last meeting, here are three possible dates for the proposed BSP summit hosted at the Mentor Graphics facility in Fremont, CA.<br>

We are exploring options for catering food at the facility and also have confirmed that we can, if desired, reserve the space for another day in the same week.<br>
